Flint is made of Silica, the same material as Quartz. Those holes are not eroded Silica, they represent where a sponge once sat, being softer they wore away, leaving these amazing natural beads that are considered to bring you good luck 💕

Paired with a twine made of seaweed, the factory where it it made also deals with Sari’s, so there are little flecks of shimmery threads weaved into it! Its been hand plaited to make a thicker rope.

Most of my Flint comes from Brighton where I live, but I have also added to my collection when visiting other flinty locations like Suffolk and Norfolk!
