Seaweed original pressing collected from Brighton Beach. Lovely deep crimson hue in the fibrous seaweeds and bright pop of green from the sea lettuce. These pressings are made using a similar technique to flower pressing, except I am using wet slimy seaweeds and drying them which produces a watercolour type effect for some of them.

Beautiful deckled edged thick textured paper in an unusual circular shape, 30cm x 30cm.

PLEASE NOTE these are originals not prints. They will need to be kept flat untill framed. Leaving them out willy nilly will cause the seaweed to curl and unfurl and dry out especially if put in direct sunlight. As soon as they are framed the glass acts as a press to keep the seaweed flat and safe.
